A bunch of dreams

A pile of dreams is a portrait composed of reflections on the fears and nostalgia of four friends and fragments of the daily life of the city of San José during the Covid-19 pandemic.

    Director, Producer and Sound.

    Ayerím villanueva (Dominican Republic, 1987) is a poet and studied film at the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (2012), and at the Veritas University of Costa Rica (2017). In 2014 she held the Documentary Film Workshop at EICTV, Cuba. Her final thesis work is her medium-length film "Elena", which was filmed in Costa Rica and received the honorable mention of her film career and the special mention of the jury of the CIBA-CILECT Film School Show at the 13th Film Festival, São Paulo Latin American Cinema 2018. In 2016 she worked as a Mezcal Jury at the Guadalajara International Film Festival (FICG31, Mexico, 2016).
    She has worked as an editor, sound engineer and cinematographer for video clips and short films in Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic and Cuba. She is currently developing the script for "Calor", her debut feature.
