Audiovisual dictionary that covers some concepts of daily use during the Covid-19 pandemic in Argentina. Traversed by the concept of eternal return, this story addresses the environmental problems of our territory and our way of connecting with the species and the space we inhabit.

    Director

    He was born in Buenos Aires during the winter of 1990, while Argentina and Yugoslavia played the quarterfinals of the World Cup in Italy. Graduated from the "Image and Sound Design" (FADU) degree at the University of Buenos Aires. He attended the photography workshops of Xavier Martín, Carlos Di Nallo (astrophotography) and the collective COMÚN. He is an audiovisual designer and photographer at the 1.21GW production company, where he develops the interactive experience "Functional Unit". There he wrote and co-directed with Martín García: "The Rat Cobain", premiered in 2019 and awarded at various international festivals.

    Specialized in digital formats, he made documentaries, short films and video clips. He is part of "Don Julio Magazine", an editorial project declared of cultural interest by the Legislature of the City of Buenos Aires in 2018. He worked for the production companies Boga Bogagna, BRUTO and Non Stop content, where he participated in projects aimed at TV signals and also to graphic and digital media. He was selected in the Banco Ciudad's "People of my city" photo contest (2019).

  • Magali Suescun

    Director

    She was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She recently graduated of Image and Sound Designer from the University of Buenos Aires (FADU). Since March 2018 she has been working as an audiovisual producer and photographer at the ETÉREAS production company.

    In 2018 she developed and worked on a research project called MAREA (Memory, Archive and Recovery of the Audiovisual Experience) in the production, organization and installation of archival material of the academic audiovisual heritage. MAREA was part of the FADU BIENNIAL and was exhibited at the Pinacoteca in the event of the 30 years of the Image and Sound Design career in 2019.

    In that same year, she did the ARPA internship (Archive and Compilation of Audiovisual Heritage) organizing the theme of installation and exhibition of audiovisual works at the end of the year.

    She directed "Open door" (2019) short documentary; "Emerge" (2020) short fiction selected in various festivals and "Hábitat" (2021) experimental short. She is currently writing and pre-producing her next documentary "ELLO" about accumulation and collecting. Her research addresses topics such as insanity, the psychology, the biology, and nature.

  • Rocío Morgenstern

    Sound Designer

    Rocío Morgenstern is a sound designer and audiovisual performer, student of Electronic Arts, UNTREF and Image and Sound Design, UBA. He directs his artistic and professional work to sound research, making both audiovisual and installation pieces.

    Currently his artistic development focuses on sound minimalism and musical composition as a traction of the present time.

    Influenced by the fundamentals of Feng Shui, meditation and deep listening (Oliveros), the artist proposes the dispossession and scarcity of elements as the fundamental axis of her composition, as well as the union between the electronic and the organic, exploring various materials and instruments. that it incorporates in its livesets.
