An unknown woman finds herself stuck in the rhythm and the habits of her daily routine. The place she inhabits is a room which contains no walls and no windows, with the only door in or out lacking a handle. There is no way out. What will a person do in such a situation when left to their own devices?

  • Emil Engesnes Brathen

    Director

    Emil E. Bråthen (Director): Born in Trondheim, Norway, in 1997. He has been working with film since 2017 after taking a one-year course in filmmaking at Danvik Folk High School. Since then, he has been working in commercials and for production companies like Warner Brothers Norway and Aspect Film as an editor, vfx-artist and scriptwriter. He is currently undertaking a Bachelor in Moving Images at Nordland Academy of Art and Film where he has helped produce several award-winning titles. This year he has written and directed the award-winning short film “The Caretaker” which premiered at The Norwegian Short Film Festival. He is currently working on his Bachelor-project “VOLD” (Violence); a short film that the depicts the first encounter between a young boy and the extremities of video- and real life violence that resides on the internet.

    Iggy Augunset (Actor): Born in Hovet, Norway, in 1997. Her creative practise is based on a playful approach to animation and video, which she since 2016 have been exploring through several short films. Her works have been shown at several festivals around the world. She completed her Bachelor in Moving Images at Nordland Academy of Art and Film in the spring of 2021 and is currently in post-production with her Bachelor project “The Softest Hands”; a short film that explores death and transgenerational trauma through the relationship between a 10-year old child and her grandmother.
